2011 Fall Training

Ages: 7-14
When: Sunday's:
September 11, 18, 25, October 2, 9, 16, 23*
Where: Northlake Christian School (NCS) & VIA Training Facility
Times:
12:00-1:30 (7-10’s)
1:45-3:15 (11’s& 12’s)
3:30-5:00 (13’s & 14’s)

Cost: $35 Registration Fee
$95 Curriculum Fee (includes Fall Training T-shirt)


IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
*September 25th is a physical testing & training date. Please make sure participants do not miss this date, as the testing results will be used during tryout evaluations on October 23rd.

*The last day of Fall Training (October 23rd) also serves as Tryouts for the 2011-2012 Club Season.

*Uniform tryons will be held on the same day as Tryouts on October 23rd. Uniform tryons will be conducted at the VIA training facility. Arrive 1 hour before tryouts.

*Tryout fees are waived to Fall Training Participants. Fall Training Participants will not need to pay the $60 tryout fee.

*If a Fall Training Participant is not able to make the October 23rd tryout, make-ups will be held on October 30th.

*Tryouts are open to all girls. Even those who did participate in Fall Training.

The Fall Session will introduce new players to The Volleyball Institute of America as well as to the opportunities available to them during our "Club Season” (VIA-LA) that immediately follows the Fall Session.  The goals of the 2011 VIA Fall Session are twofold.  Primarily, this session provides players with quality technical instruction in skill development. Secondly, it introduces the players to the competitive element of the game.  Our evaluation/tryout process, which is part of the Fall Curriculum, will help parents and players make decisions regarding the player’s current skill levels and ability to enter the competitive arena.
