The LAVB Distinction

  • Vision and Commitment to grow the game . . .

All levels of volleyball opportunities are available through various programs in Louisiana Volleyball and The Volleyball Institute of America (VIA).  Quality training and programming is apparent in our youth leagues, clinics, The Academy, camps, private/group lessons, club season, college advancement, tournaments and coach development.  Louisiana Volleyball offers various levels of teams to meet our athletes’ abilities, goals and dreams from ages 8- 18!   Not only do we serve our home-based community, but we also have a family of clubs in Covington, Baton Rouge, and Lafayette.  Our Elite players come together to compete at the highest-level tournaments offered in the USA.

  • Community Based and Driven . . .

Louisiana Volleyball was formed in 2001 with 5 teams. We now host 45-50 teams each year. Our athletes are featured throughout the State of Louisiana. Our coaches span middle schools, high schools and college ranks.  We are the only club offering a minimum of $10,000 in need-based scholarships to assist families in need.

  • Our Coaches are our greatest assets . . .

LAVB/VIA invest in our coaches.  We have set aside a fund for coaches’ education and training.  We have 4 current collegiate coaches, 12 current high school coaches, 5 coaches with past college or high school coaching experience, 12 coaches who played high school and/or collegiate volleyball, 13 coaches who are teachers, several coaches who coached in National Championships Quarter-Finals Semi-Finals and Finals, 9 State Championship Coaches (some won in multiple years).

  • Professional Leadership . . .

A full time experienced administrative staff working collaboratively towards the success of the club. Our staff and admin are highly accessible and invested in each athletes’ and coaches’ development.  Our staff prides itself in meeting and exceeding the Louisiana volleyball community needs.

  • Non Profit . . .

We are passionate about girls playing, learning and loving the game. Our families and coaches ore our most unique resources and define our program.

  • Our Culture . . .
